K-Center CHASE

K-Center Chemical Systems Engineering

In the K-Center "Chemical Systems Engineering" (CHASE) a new knowledge platform for energy-, resource- and cost-intensive processes in the process industry is developed. In the industrial environment, CHASE will generate a cross-linked spectrum of methods in three research areas: process digitization, process intensification and circular economy processes.

The K-Projects PSSP, PAC and imPACts are set within FFG's COMET - funding-progam.

The strategic objectives of COMET are: developing new expertise by initiating and supporting long-term research co-operations between science and industry in toplevel research, and establishing and securing the technological leadership of companies. By advancing and bundling existing strengths and by integrating international research expertise Austria is to be strengthened as a research location for the long term.
